Schools across Punjab are preparing to reopen after the summer vacation, and students and parents are now waiting for clarity on the school timings for the new academic session.
The School Education Department Punjab has not yet published a fresh province-wide notification confirming the final timings. Therefore, the timings circulating online should be treated as expected timings, not a final government schedule. According to the expected schedule, single-shift schools may operate from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM from Monday to Thursday. On Friday, classes may continue from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
For double-shift schools, the morning shift is expected to run from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, while the afternoon shift may begin at 1:00 PM and continue until 5:00 PM.
