Punjab Announces New Jobs Under CM School Meal Program

The Punjab School Education Department has announced 52 contract-based vacancies under the Chief Minister Punjab Schools Meal Program, creating new employment opportunities for qualified candidates across multiple districts. Recruitment is being carried out by the department’s Strategic Management Unit (SMU) to support the implementation of the school meal initiative.

The available positions include Program Coordinator (1), Data Analyst (1), Assistant Manager Finance (1), Program Associate (2), IT Associate (2), District Coordinator (13), Tehsil Coordinator (28), Complaint Handling Agent (1), and Office Boy (3). Depending on the position, the contract period ranges from 8 to 11 months.

Most professional positions require 16 years of education in a relevant discipline along with at least two years of experience. The Program Coordinator position requires six years of relevant experience, while the Assistant Manager Finance role requires five years. Applicants for the Data Analyst post should have expertise in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Excel, SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools.

The recruitment covers 13 districts, including Bahawalnagar, Bhakkar, Chiniot, Dera Ghazi Khan, Kot Addu, Layyah, Lodhran, Mianwali, Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Taunsa, and Vehari. These coordinators will help oversee the implementation and monitoring of the school meal program in their respective areas.

Interested candidates must apply online only through the official recruitment portal. Applicants are required to upload their CV, CNIC, educational certificates, and experience documents. Applications submitted by hand or courier will not be accepted, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next stage of recruitment.

The CM Punjab Schools Meal Program is part of the provincial government’s efforts to improve student nutrition, school attendance, and learning outcomes, especially in underserved areas. Officials have advised candidates to submit complete applications before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
