According to the official BIEK (Board of Intermediate Education Karachi) Result Gazette, girls delivered a significantly stronger performance than boys in the HSC Part II Pre-Medical examinations. They achieved a higher pass percentage, secured better grades, and claimed all top three positions, making them the standout performers this year.
A total of 23,007 candidates appeared in the examination, while 14,134 students successfully passed. This resulted in an overall pass percentage of 61.43%, reflecting a competitive performance in one of Karachi’s largest intermediate groups.
Girls vs Boys Performance
The official statistics show that 18,479 female students appeared in the examination, with 12,059 passing. This gives girls an impressive pass rate of 65.26%.
On the other hand, 4,528 male students appeared, out of which 2,075 cleared the examination. The boys’ pass percentage remained at 45.83%, creating a noticeable performance gap.

Girls Excelled in Higher Grades
The grade-wise breakdown further strengthens the performance of female students. Girls secured significantly more A-1, A, and B grades, demonstrating stronger overall academic achievement.

Female candidates earned nearly six times more A-1 grades than male students, reflecting exceptional preparation and consistent performance throughout the examination.
Top Three Positions Claimed by Girls
Another major highlight of the results is that all three overall positions in the Karachi Board Pre-Medical group were secured by female students.
- 🥇 Hafsa Khan — 1,011/1,100 marks
- 🥈 Huda Sarwer — 1,007/1,100 marks
- 🥉 Aamna Aziz — 1,004/1,100 marks
Their outstanding scores further reinforced the dominance of female students in this year’s examinations.
Overall, the official Karachi Board result statistics clearly indicate that girls remained ahead of boys in pass percentage, grade distribution, and merit positions. While thousands of students from both groups successfully completed the examination, female candidates once again set a high academic benchmark in the HSC Part II Pre-Medical results.
